Carolinas Chapter NAVHDA Training Clinic, April 7-8, 2018

Kyle Hough, Professional Trainer has been a member of North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) since 1999. 

Kyle has trained and passed dogs in NAVHDA at the NA, UT and Invitational levels as well AKC Master Hunter. 

 A contributor to Versatile Hunting Dog magazine, Kyle’s recent articles on Backing were featured in June and July 2017 issues.


Clinic focus:  Steadiness to flush, wing, and shot.

· Introduction to e-collar

· Steadiness on the training table with transition to field

· Backing (honoring)

Fee: $100.00 per person (includes lunch on Saturday)

Time: Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Sunday 8:00 a.m.- 12 p.m.

Participation will be initially open to Carolinas Chapter members but payment must be submitted by March 1, 2018. After March 1, participation will be opened to the public.


Cancellations made prior to March 24, 2018 will be charged a $20.00 fee. 

No refunds will be given after March 24, 2018.


Lunch is provided by Ryan Nabry – home smoked pulled pork, homemade slaw, chips, beverage, and dessert.
